Summer Schools offer a great opportunity for engaging and efficient learning of Russian language and introduction to the Russian culture. Students of the Summer School programs develop and improve their Russian language skills and learn about Russian culture and traditions.

The programs are designed for:

• beginners and continuing students
• First-time and returning visitors to Russia
• tourists and international students

The programs include two components:

1. Russian language

   • speaking and writing practice
   • practical grammar
   • speech etiquette

2. Cultural program

   • Sightseeing tour
   • Tomsk museums (Museum of Slavic mythology, Tomsk Regional Museum of Local History, Tomsk Memorial Museum of History of Political Repression, Museum of Wooden Architecture)
   • Studio of the renowned Tomsk sculptor Leontii Usov
   • Performance in the Tomsk Theater

Additional tours available to:

• Open-air museum Tomskaya Pisanitsa (neolithic rock art museum)
• Lake Baikal
• Novosibirsk Zoo
