TUSUR Reopens Campus: What Will Be Different in the New Academic Year

August 21, 2020

The new academic year at TUSUR University will follow the traditional face-to-face format that will be integrated with distance learning technologies. A new schedule is designed to ensure a gradual start of studies in the reopened campus.

As formalized by the Order of Rector, the new academic year will start on September 1. Classes will be delivered in a mixed format that will combine face-to-face instruction with distance learning technologies.

On September 1, freshmen will be invited to join TUSUR Days, a series of orientation and onboarding events.

Lectures will be delivered via the e-learning platform sdo.tusur.ru, while practical classes, laboratory work and project-based group sessions will be face-to-face, in accordance with the schedule.

All students arriving from abroad will need to observe a 14-day isolation at the TUSUR Quarantine Center. On the 10th to 12th day after checking in, all students will need to take a COVID-19 test (provided by TUSUR). After being discharged from the Quarantine Center, students will be issued campus passes and will be able to start face-to-face studies.
