Master program "Artificial Intelligence in the Security of Cyber-Physical Systems"

The head of the Master's degree program is Evgeny Kostyuchenko, Associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Acting Head of the Department of Information Systems Security.

Artificial intelligence is one of the drivers of the industry's transition to Industry 4.0, in particular, the creation of a new digital security architecture for cyber–physical systems. The Master program is focused on training highly qualified personnel in the field of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

The uniqueness of this program:

  • all three areas of artificial intelligence are studied here – cognitive, bionic and social,
  • artificial intelligence technologies are considered both as a security tool, as an object of attacks, and as a means of developing attack scenarios for testing the protection system,
  • and competitive methods of artificial intelligence are studied.

Competencies and skills of the graduate

The Master degree program will provide in-depth knowledge and professional skills in the field of modern artificial intelligence technologies, as well as the use of these technologies to protect cyberspace and user assets from unauthorized access and attacks, incident response, spam detection, phishing and threat detection.

Undergraduates studying in this profile receive competencies in the use of modern software and tools for the development of intelligent modules for monitoring the functioning and security of cyberphysical systems.
