TUSUR students took prizes at the International Electronics Championship

The International Electronics Championship for Students was held in Tomsk on April 20 – 22 and featured teams representing some of the leading universities of Russia and the CIS countries. 

The TUSUR team has finished first in the Bioengineering Systems and Technologies category with Kirill Khan, Temir Sakavov and Amir Omarov finishing first in the individual championships, and third in the Electronics and Nanoelectronics category with its members finishing in the top 10 in the individual championship.

The participants had to demonstrate their knowledge in electric circuit theory, discrete-component electronic devices, analogue circuit engineering, digital devices, power electronics and microprocessor devices.

The International Electronics Championship for Students is designed to promote a higher standard of education in electronics engineering, motivate students for a career in the industry, and create a talent pool for research, industry and business.
