RUSSOFT Association has published its ranking of Russian universities providing training in software engineering. TUSUR has ranked the highest among universities outside of Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
The Software Development Association RUSSOFT has published its tenth edition of its ranking of Russian universities. The universities were assessed for the quality of their programs in software development based on a survey of industry leaders.
This year, the survey covered 377 companies whose managers could share their feedback based on two criteria: quality of training and the number of graduates who demonstrate at least the minimum required level of competence as they enter employment, assessed on a scale of 1 to 5. The final ranking included a total of 109 Russian universities.
In 2026, TUSUR University ranked 11th, the highest among universities outside of Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Improving its overall position by 9 points compared to the previous year, the university has also notably received a high appraisal from industry leaders from other regions.
“This remarkable feedback from companies that are active outside of Tomsk region serves as a valuable confirmation of our impact country-wide. We are grateful for it and committed to growing further,” says Rector of TUSUR University Victor Rulevskiy.
