TUSUR Discussed Prospects of Partnership With NARLabs

Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics has received a delegation from the Taiwan National Research Laboratories (NARLabs).

President of NARLabs Wang Yeong-Ho, Professor of NARLabs Cheng Ming-Chih and Director of Science and Technology Division of the Moscow-Taipei Coordination Commission on Economic and Cultural Cooperation Fu Chao-Ming have come to TUSUR as part of their visit to Tomsk Region to learn about its R&D potential and discuss potential areas of cooperation.

At TUSUR, they have met with the Head of Research Administration Yevgeny Ageyev and heads of University divisions that are interested in joint projects with NARLabs. The delegation learned about the past R&D projects of TUSUR and a number of current projects that match the NARLabs areas of research focus, such as space technologies.

The experience of our University in applied research and development of innovative technology solutions and close cooperation with industrial partners is what our colleagues from NARLabs are looking for, and in the future, it could form the basis of a productive partnership.

Established in 2003, the National Applied Research Laboratories NARLabs has combined national laboratories into an independent non-profit institute. NARLabs consists of 10 research centers. A partner of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Taiwan, NARLabs supplies the technology resources and R&D platforms for the innovation-driven economy of Taiwan.
