TUSUR has entered Round University Ranking

Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics has ranked among the top universities of the world in the new RUR world university ranking.

The University has shown outstanding result in four categories of the ranking (Doctoral degrees awarded per admitted PhD; Share of international students; Doctoral degrees awarded per academic staff; Research income per institutional income), which allowed it to rank 54th among Russian universities and 729th among world universities, along with other respectable Russian universities such as Siberian State Aerospace University, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and Kazan National Research Technical University.

This marks the first time for TUSUR University in the RUR Ranking, which is an important achievement that demonstrates the efficiency of its development strategy with a focus on own resources. The data used in the RUR ranking has a 3-year delay to the year of publication, with the 2017 ranking being based on 2014 year data.

Round University Ranking (RUR Ranking) is a world university ranking, assessing effectiveness of the leading world universities based on 20 indicators distributed among 4 key dimension areas: teaching, research, international diversity, financial sustainability. The RUR Rankings publisher is an independent RUR Rankings Agency, located in Moscow, Russia. The raw data for RUR Ranking is provided within a special annual survey run by Thomson Reuters – Global Institutional Profiles Project.
