TUSUR University has joined the Robotics Coordination Council under the Russian Ministry of Education and Science

TUSUR Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Roman Mescheryakov has become a member of the Robotics Coordination Council under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.

TUSUR University is the only university East of Urals included in the Robotics Coordination Council under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. The Council includes a total of ten university members, seven representing Moscow and Saint Petersburg, and the Southern and South-Western Federal Universities.

The Robotics Coordination Council was created in fall 2015 to facilitate the development of training programs for robotics engineers and to coordinate the overall development of the industry. The Council is responsible for providing expert regulatory recommendations and developing the methodological framework for education in robotics.

The Council members include the Minister of Education and Science of Russia Dmitry Livanov, Rectors of the leading engineering universities of Russia, heads of departments within the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, Advanced Research Foundation, Chief Robotics Research and Testing Center of the Russian Ministry of Defense, and others.
