Iranian CISSC delegation visits TUSUR University
On March 22 TUSUR University received a delegation of representatives of the Center for International Scientific Studies and Collaboration (CISSC), an agency of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The goal of the CISSC is to provide Iranian academic centers with scientific and technological support.
Members of the delegation – Hasan Khadem Kalan (Iran University of Science and Technology), Karim Hojatzadeh (University of Tehran), Hossein Hashemi (Iran University of Haje Nasirodin Toosi) came to Tomsk to establish and expand cooperation with Russian engineering universities and negotiate new research projects. At TUSUR, the delegation was invited to a round table discussion with Rector Alexander Shelupanov and the leading researchers of our University who supervise high-priority research in materials science, optics, photonics, microwave electronics, automated control systems and medical engineering.
The guests were acquainted with the international activities of TUSUR University, including its international academic programs and research projects in radioelectronics, nanoelectronics, medicine, space technology, etc. The parties confirmed their mutual interest in further cooperation in science and technology for the benefit of both countries.
