On March 13, Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics and Karaganda Technical University finalized a new cooperation agreement. The documents were signed by TUSUR Rector Victor Rulevskiy and KTU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Bekbolat Nusupbekov.
The two universities proudly share twenty years of partnership, launching a dual-degree program two years ago. The newly signed agreement opens up additional areas of collaboration, including academic exchanges for students and faculty, joint research and educational initiatives, collaborative R&D projects, and joint scientific and practical conferences.
"We always welcome new opportunities in our cooperation with Kazakhstan universities," said Victor Rulevskiy. "I believe we have a lot to share and much to gain from mutually strengthening our positions in education." He also extended an invitation to KTU students, both those currently enrolled in the dual-degree program and those considering it, to visit Tomsk and TUSUR for the Radio Day celebration.
Bekbolat Nusupbekov added: "We already have an active agreement with TUSUR on our dual-degree program. Six of our students are now studying here, pursuing a degree in Radio Engineering. Today's agreement will allow us to expand cooperation into other areas as well. We hope to see our partnership grow in information security, information systems, and other programs. I look forward to active academic mobility between our two universities."
