Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics updates its positions in the latest edition of the Round University Subject Rankings (RUR).
The ranking agency has published two its subject rankings for Natural Sciences and Technical Sciences. TUSUR University ranked 29th among Russian universities in the Natural Sciences ranking (542nd globally) and 44th in the Technical Sciences ranking (621st globally). In the 2018 edition, TUSUR ranked 21st and 48th, respectively.
The Natural Sciences ranking included 640 universities total, and the Technical Sciences ranking included 669. Overall, the number of Russian universities ranked for Natural Sciences has increased four times: 11 universities in 2014 vs. 46 in 2019. The increase is even higher for Technical Sciences: 11 vs. 59.
In the 2019 edition of the rankings, TUSUR was included in the Bronze League for teaching (29th nationally and 396th internationally vs. 400th in 2018) and internationalization (17th nationally and 381th internationally vs. 386th in 2018) in Natural Sciences.
Round University Ranking is an international university ranking published by RUR in collaboration with Clarivate Analytics. The ranking analyzes the performance of 1,100 leading universities from 85 countries around the world across 20 indicators grouped into four dimensions: teaching, research, internationalization and financial sustainability. The RUR cycle includes 30 rankings in six subject areas: human sciences, life sciences, medical, natural, social and technical sciences.
