XIV Tomsk Innovation Forum took place on 26–27 May

One of the Forum organizers is TUSUR along with the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Economic Development, Tomsk Oblast Administration, Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

During two days representatives of federal ministries, regional authorities, universities, business and foreign experts discussed: «Innovative Russia — 2020: How to Launch the Knowledge-Based Economy?» The base of forum program was the Strategy for the Innovative Development of the Russian Federation until 2020. Number of the Forum participants comprises more than three thousand people, that three times more as in 2010. Web-site INNOVUS (innovus.biz) transmitted all open events of the Forum and also twitter-chat were created.

26 May Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation Mr. Sergey Naryshkin, Deputy Minister in Economic Development Mr. Oleg Fomichev, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Israel in the Russian Federation Mrs. Dorit Golender arrived to participate in the Forum events, such as Discussion club «How to launch the knowledge-based economy in Russia?», Roundtable discussion «Innovative urban environment», Council of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR), etc. Also Presidential Plenipotentiary in Siberian Federal District Mr. Viktor Tolokonskiy, the RF Minister of Finance Deputy Mr. Alexander Novak, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of RF Mr. Alexey Ponomarev, CEO of SIBUR Holding Open Joint Stock Company Mr. Dmitriy Konov took a part in XIV Tomsk Innovation Forum.
