According to the results of the Graduate Employment Monitoring published by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, graduates of TUSUR University make 44,301 rubles/month on average during their first year of employment. That is half as much as the Russian-average graduate’s salary of 30,600 rubles.
On June 17 to July 1 the Russian finswimming team participated in the 19th CMAS Finswimming World Championship in Volos, Greece.
On June 20, during the board meeting of RoboCup a delegation of TUSUR University and Tomsk region will present Tomsk’s bid to host the RoboCup World Final 2018.
TUSUR University maintains long-standing partnerships with a number of French universities. In 2014 the University started its exchange program with EPITECH, and every year several of its students come to Tomsk for a full-year long academic and research internship.
On June 14 QS Quacquarelli Symonds presented its university rankings for the countries of Emerging Europe and Central Asia.
In 2016 TUSUR University became the co-organizer of the III Young Scientists Forum U-NOVUS, holding the first national RoboCup Russia Open, providing venues for the Science Game final and presenting the best project of its young scientists at the competition for innovative robotics developments
On August 8–10, 2016 TUSUR University will hold the International Cosmological Conference. It will be the second annual international workshop on cosmology held in Tomsk. In 2015, the Conference was held by Tomsk State Pedagogical University.
TUSUR University has held its traditional RadioBOOM festival in celebration of the Radio Day.
