TUSUR student is the silver medalist of the French Finswimming World Cup round

The finswimming team of Tomsk region has successfully finished the IV Finswimming World Cup round that was held in Aix-en-Provence on April 1—3.

Among the team members is Elena Zaitseva, a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, who has won silver in women’s finswimming 200m.

The winners in the category are:

  • 1st place: Erica Barbon (Italy, Modena), 1:32.47
  • 2nd place: Elena Zaitseva (Russia, Tomsk), 01:32.84
  • 3rd place: Grace Fernandez Castillo (Columbia), 1:33.38

A total of 37 athletes competed in the category.

Based on the results of all rounds of the XI Finswimming World Cup, the Tomsk Region team is a solid leader heading to the Final that will be held in September in Tomsk.

  • 1st place. Russian Cup. Finswimming, team relay 4 * 100m
  • 2nd place. World Cup round (Франция). Finswimming, 200m
